Common questions about IEMT
What is IEMT?
IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) is a brief, change-focused approach using guided eye movements to reduce the intensity of difficult emotional responses and update stuck identity patterns. It can be helpful for anxiety, intrusive emotional “spikes”, guilt/shame, and long-standing self-beliefs.

How much does IEMT cost?
IEMT sessions are £150 per session. Each session lasts between 15 minutes and 50 minutes, depending on the work required. We’ll agree what’s appropriate for you before we begin.

How many sessions will I need?
IEMT is typically brief. Some people notice meaningful shifts in a small number of sessions; others combine IEMT with counselling over a longer period. We’ll review progress together and adapt as needed.

How does an IEMT session work?
After a short assessment, we identify the target emotion or belief. I’ll guide specific eye-movement patterns while you hold the target in mind. Sessions are paced safely and always client-led.

Is IEMT the same as EMDR?
No. While both use eye movements, IEMT has distinct protocols and emphasises emotional imprints and identity patterns rather than trauma reprocessing in the EMDR sense.
