FAQs about bereavement counselling
How soon after a loss should I start counselling?
There’s no right time. Some people want support immediately; others prefer to wait. We can begin whenever you feel ready and go at a pace that feels manageable.
What’s the difference between grief and depression?
Grief is a natural response to loss and often comes in waves. Depression can feel more persistent and affect daily functioning. We’ll explore what you’re experiencing and decide together what support will help most.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer online counselling in Kent via secure video, as well as in-person sessions in Maidstone & Teston.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some find a few sessions helpful around key moments; others prefer ongoing support. We’ll review regularly and decide together.
